Business Directions

Comcast provides cable television, mobile broadband internet, home security, and VoIP phone services to its consumers. It began offering internet services in 1996 with the help of @Home Network. The latter merged with Excite but still continued working with Comcast to deliver internet services. When the merged company filed for bankruptcy in 200, Comcast shifted to its own network where it continued serving its 950,000 customers.

Comcast currently offers a network of public Wi-Fi for its customers known as Xfinity WiFi. It consists of hotspots that are installed at businesses and public locations.
