The Maverik story started when a young Wyoming man in his home town wanted to create a corporation. In 1928, Reuel Call, who was then 20 years old, opened two-pump gas stations in Wyoming, Afton. The company expanded rapidly, and later it started to provide fuel to the nearest cities and ranches. In 1954 he ended relationships with his national brand and went independent, using the name "Maverik," which defines unbranded. Today, Maverik is the perfect place where you can fuel your vehicle and energize your body for any adventures.

Although most of the company's stores reach a maximum of 4,000 square meters, the marketer unveiled a broad template of new stores up to 5,000 square feet, with over 40% of the foodservice space reserved. In the food sphere, Maverik has been extremely assertive, actively selling new products and a larger variety of home-meals replacement choices and alternatives of a full meal.
