Key Facts

Several television commercials have represented Midas using a fictional spokesman known as “Midas Man.” The character is played by actor Ralph Peduto.

Midas maintains its ethical standards and brand integrity by encouraging its dealers to join the International Midas Dealers Association (IMDA). The association brings together hardworking people who are committed to building success in an ethical and honest manner. This boosts their own profitability and markets Midas as the best choice for automotive services.

The association began as early as the 1970s. It started with 8 dealers and was referred to as National Muffler Dealers. It continued to expand through the years and quickly started meeting the changing needs of the company and industry. The association’s name was changed to National Midas Dealers Association in 1979 and to International Midas Dealers Associations in 1994 following the inclusion of Canadian Midas dealers.
