If you know what Walmart is, you've definitely heard about Sam's Club - one of Walmart's divisions. Sam's Club is a famous warehouse club chain based on the membership service only - there are around 41 million clients paying fees for receiving the membership. Its activity extends to the USA and Puerto Rico territory operating around 600 points. Abroad the company has points in Mexico (164), China (31), and Brazil. Sam's Club's locations are extended as for the territory - usually, they cover from 32,000 to 168,000 square feet. They can have such elements as management of central energy, daylight illumination with skylights, night lighting, fixtures of water-conserving, and others.

Although Sam's Club is a part of Walmart, the idea of warehouse clubs does not belong to Sam Walton, Walmart's creator. The author of the warehouse club concept is Sol Price, owner of the Price Club. One day he showed his store to Sam Walton, and the latest got inspired by it. Besides, Sam's Club launching pursued one aim. As Walmart's stores were situated in small cities, big merchants did not take it into account. The opening of the first Sam Club's location in 1983 helped Walmart enter the urban market and get new types of customers that were previously inaccessible for Walmart.

In Sam Club's locations, you can choose from over 4,000 product assortment - groceries, clothing, beauty supplies, jewelry, home appliances, medications, etc. The other thing is that the company does not keep each item in each accessible trademark. The points keep the correct items and buy them in large volumes. Sam's Club's extra services include mail delivery of medicines, travel club, car loans, processing of discount credit cards, and others. When it comes to the prices, they come with a better discount than other retailers, as the extra charge in Sam's Club is a bit higher than wholesale. The clients of Sam Club are not only individuals but also small businesses (such as cafes, centers of daycare, and offices) and big markets.

Sam's Club’s points offer several types of membership – basic or regular and Plus memberships. The basic membership costs $45 for one year, and the Plus membership is $100. Both types include one credit card with a free membership for one family member (the option of adding one more family member costs $40). Besides, both membership types provide such advantages as access to Sam's Club Tire & Battery centers and gas stations. If you are a Sam's Club Plus member, you get the service of free delivery for most items. Also, it includes 5% back on some purchases if you have Sam's Club Mastercard. This card also offers great advantages for its owners – 5% cashback if you purchase fuel at Sam's Club and Walmart gas stations; 3% back if you buy dinner; and 1% back on other eligible buys. With the membership in Sam's Club, you can also get such services as early shopping, medication economy, screening of health (it's a free service), daily "Tastes & Tips", and sampling demonstrations.
