If you are interested in getting your adrenaline fix before heading out to the rodeo, the food and drink are sure to be enough to get you in the mood. The area is also home to the Bakersfield Horn Pounder, one of the best shows in town. You can enjoy pit racing and listening to live music all during the carnival.
