About Frisco, in Texas, you may have heard that this city is on the Gulf of Mexico. Frisco is a coastal city in Texas and a part of the Dallas Forth Worth area. Downtown, the Frisco Heritage Museum contains antique cars, vintage tractors, and railroad memorabilia. The National Videogames Museum has rare video games and a huge arcade. Next door, Sci-Fi Discovery Center has a science and technology museum where you can experience thrilling rides and see interactive exhibits.

To the north, Frisco Commons Park offers a great place to walk your dog. The old oak trees, beautiful flowers, and birds all around you make this place relaxing. To the south is the Capistrano Creek Watershed, filled with a manmade lake and ponds. You can fish, swim and just relax watching all the life go by. There are also nature trails where you can walk and view the amazing scenery.

Frisco is surrounded by natural water. There are two lakes for you to enjoy; Lake Travis and Lake Dalhart. Lake Travis has a much smaller population of about 740 people. However, because of its wonderful views and proximity to downtown, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Lake Dalhart, on the other hand, is much larger and is thought to be the largest freshwater body in Texas. It is located about 20 miles from downtown.

No matter what time of year you visit, you can see a variety of aquatic wildlife in and around Frisco. If you love watching different types of ducks and geese, then you will not be disappointed with the sight of them. They are very common during spring and summer. For those who enjoy watching a different type of fish, then you will definitely want to check out Lake Wortham, which is about thirty minutes from downtown. It is not as large as Lake Travis or Lake Dalhart, but it still has plenty of room for your family to enjoy.

Throughout the city of Frisco, there are many parks for the visitors to enjoy. The Aquarium at the North Park Zoo is one you will definitely want to visit. There are also the Big Tree Outdoor Park, Children's Zoo, and Bee Family Centennial Zoo to choose from.

If you love hiking, biking, and watching the wildlife then you definitely need to check out some of the nature trails that Frisco has to offer. The Boulders Trail is about a three-mile-long path, where you will get to see a lot of nature. Just before you reach the end of the trail, you will encounter ocelots, squirrels, and quail. This is definitely a great way to spend the day if you love the outdoors.

You can also go swimming when you are here. The Cedar Springs Aquarium offers several swimming pools where you can enjoy a nice swim. The Aquarium also features several interactive exhibits to keep the children entertained. In the north part, you will come across the Seven Devils Falls. There are also several nature trails here that you will definitely enjoy.

If you love nature, then you must see Six Flags Magic Mountain. This amusement park has some of the best roller coasters around. You can get to see what it's like to ride on the back of a train, or you can just sit and enjoy the ride as the trees sprout out at the backdrop of the mountains. Other than rides at the Six Flags Magic Mountain, you can also see some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. It has a playground where you can let your kids climb things or you can even take a hike up to the top for a breath of fresh air.
